Give Help

Donate money

Big or small, every financial gift you give can help us to help some-one in times of crisis.

Our foodbank is run by local people for local people – we rely on the community’s support to ensure we can continue to help people who find themselves in need of help in times of crisis. The foodbank needs financial gifts in order to resource and develop the service. Can you invest in the future of project and help us to provide much-needed support to people in the community?

Gift Aid

If a donor is a UK taxpayer and gives their agreement, they can Gift Aid their donation. This means that the food bank can claim back any basic rate tax the person has paid on their donation from Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC).

Gift Aid means that for every £1 donation you receive, you can claim back an extra 25p of tax at no extra cost to you. All that is required is that you  sign a gift aid declaration.

A single gift could secure the ongoing plans and development of the North Belfast Foodbank.

Individuals and corporates – hold a coffee morning, organise a quiz, run the Belfast marathon? –  there are some helpful hints and ideas in our handy fundraising booklet below.  If you plan to organise an event please contact the foodbank so the foodbank is aware of your plans and can help promote it.
