In recent years local schools have collected tins and packets of food as part of their harvest festival. To support the work of the foodbank schools, businesses and churches can contact the office to learn more about the work of the foodbank and receive a poster to promote their harvest collection .
Donated items can be brought to the foodbank warehouse during opening hours.
North Belfast Foodbank has recently opened a foodbank at Immanuel Presbyterian Church, 35 Agnes Street Belfast. It is open on a Monday afternoon between 2.00pm and 3.3pm. Please note, only clients holding referral vouchers can obtain food.
The foodbank would appreciate donations of breakfast (long-life) orange juice, UHT milk and microwavable sponge-puddings. Also showers gels would be good - and don't forget about those for men!
Donations can be left into the office at the warehouse during opening hours.
